🔁 Smart Migration Trick (Skip the Products Page)

If you're migrating from another POS (like SambaPos or similar systems), there’s an even faster method.

  1. Go to Stocks
  2. Download the Full Record Template
  3. Add your products inside that sheet
  4. Include a column named: selling_price
  5. Upload the file

Here’s the smart part:

  • If a product does NOT exist → it will be created automatically
  • If a product already exists → its selling price will NOT be overwritten

This allows you to:

  • Create products
  • Add stock quantities
  • Set selling prices

All in one upload. No duplication. No accidental price changes.

Example: Migrating from SambaPos (Quick Guide)

  1. Login as Admin
  2. Go to: Main Menu → Manage → Products → Price List Editor
  3. Press Ctrl + A (select all products)
  4. Copy (Ctrl + C)
  5. Open Excel
  6. Paste (Ctrl + V)
  7. Rename column “Price” to “selling_price”
  8. Remove unnecessary columns
  9. Save as Excel file
  10. Upload inside BestPOSApp (Stocks page template format)

  2. Click Actions > Export Library and save as a CSV file.
  3. In BestPOSApp, navigate to Inventory > Import.
